Hello,

When attempting to upload images I get the following error.
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality

In addition to this message, a bunch of garbage characters also display on the page.

I am attaching the image that I tried to upload, and a screenshot of the error.

This is probably a GD error....Ask your host if they have GD1 or GD2.... Personnaly I have GD2 and don't get any problem...

I am using dreamhost. Here is the message they sent back to me after I asked them about GD1 or GD2.

We have GD2 as part of our PHP install, specifically this is what php is
reporting:

GD Version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)

What should I look into next?

Mmm here I don't know...Your pict have extension JPG or JPEG ? For what I know only JPG, GIF and PNG are allowed...Make sure also your file are not to bigger (around 2mb maximum)..

You can also take a look to your files extensions (all files related to com_lightgallery in component and administrator folder) have correct permissions...Make sure your files have chmod 644 for files and 755 for folders...

Have you try to report your error message to your host ? I don't think this error coming from lightgallery but probably by your server...
